Thailand is one of the most popular destinations for Indian travellers, from Bangkok and Pattaya to the islands of Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui and the hills of Chiang Mai. Indian passport holders can currently visit Thailand visa-free for tourism.
Under the current exemption, Indians can stay up to 60 days, which can be extended once by 30 days in Thailand. Every visitor must complete the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before arriving. For longer or other kinds of stay, the Thai e-Visa is available online.
| Visa | Entry | Stay | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visa exemption | Single | Up to 60 days | Holidays and short visits; extendable once by 30 days |
| Tourist e-Visa | Single or multiple | Up to 60 days | Travellers who do not qualify for the exemption |
| Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) | Multiple | Up to 180 days per entry | Remote workers and longer cultural or wellness stays |
Visa options, stays and fees are set by Thailand immigration and can change. We confirm the current options when you enquire.
