About the Moldova visa

Moldova is one of Europe's least-visited countries, known for its huge underground wine cellars at Mileștii Mici and Cricova, the cliff monastery of Orheiul Vechi and the capital Chișinău. Indian passport holders can apply for a short-stay e-Visa online.

Indians who hold a valid Schengen, UK, US, Canadian or Japanese visa or residence permit can usually enter Moldova visa-free for up to 90 days in 180. Otherwise the e-Visa is the simplest route.

• Invitation or tour voucher: An invitation from a host or company in Moldova, or a booking from a tour operator, is often requested.
• Travel insurance: Medical insurance valid for Moldova for the whole stay.
